This is a standard Japanese copper grater that is widely used in Japanese cooking. As an indispensable item in the Japanese household, it has traditionally been used for grating daikon radish, wasabi, garlic and ginger. It is also ideal for grating hard vegetables and fruits to a fine and even paste.

Instruction for Care: 

  • Wash with mild detergent using a tawashi.

  • Dry completely and store in a well-ventilated area.

  • Do not place in dishwasher.

  • Copper products are subject to rust when in contact with acidic foods. Mix salt and vinegar in equal parts, wet cloth with solution and apply directly onto rust to remove it.
