The two towns flourished as the centre of swordsmithing during the Edo period, and its ancient metalcraft was later reshaped in the production of copperware such as stainless steel pots, knives and tableware. Tsubame-city is renowned for its metal polishing techniques, while the city of Sanjo developed exceptional skills in forging. The region Tsubame-Sanjo is highly regarded for its quality of stainless steel and artistry, which forges traditional craftsmanship with modern industry to produce functional craft for life-long use.

The Stainless Steel Kettle is an essential item for the everyday. This classically-designed kettle comes with a large cylindrical body made from high-quality stainless steel, with a large capacity and a smaller spout to ensure precision and safety when pouring.

This kettle is suitable for all hobs, including gas, electric and induction.

Before Use:
Wash thoroughly with detergent before first use.

After Use:
Wash with sponge and detergent.
Wipe and dry thoroughly.

Instruction for Care:
Heat kettle with moderate temperature to avoid boil over
Do not heat dry as it may morph and damage the kettle.
Do not heat over a big flame as the handle can get extremely hot.
Do not leave foods or liquids inside the kettle for long periods of time.
Do not store salt, vinegar or acid food as it may cause erosion or rust.
Do not place the kettle in the microwave or oven.
If the handle becomes loose, tighten the screw.
Do not use a brush or polisher for cleaning as it may scratch and damage the surface.
