The Metalware collection is produced in Niigata prefecture’s Tsubame-Sanjo region. The two towns flourished as the centre of swordsmithing during the Edo period, and its ancient metalcraft was later reshaped in the production of copperware such as stainless steel pots, knives and tableware. Tsubame-city is renowned for its metal polishing techniques, while the city of Sanjo developed exceptional skills in forging. The region Tsubame-Sanjo is highly regarded for its quality of stainless steel and artistry, which forges traditional craftsmanship with modern industry to produce functional craft for life-long use.

The Stainless Steel Teapot is designed for steeping tea. This small teapot is made from high-quality stainless steel, with a double wall construction to allow heat to retain for long periods of time. It comes with a built-in strainer and a bamboo handle, allowing for an authentic tea drinking experience.

Before Use:

Do not leave foods or liquids inside for long periods of time.

For safe use, do not fill the teapot to maximum capacity.
Do not store salt, vinegar or acidic food as it may cause erosion.
Do not place the teapot in the microwave or oven.
Do not place over a stovetop.
